Music from Africa in Barcelona

Immigrants from Senegal and Gambia play traditional african drums in the popular Parc de la Ciutadella, Barcelona during La Mercè celebration in September, 2017. Senegaleses and Gambians constitute one of the biggest community of african immigrants in Spain, and mainly live in Cataluña and in the municipality of Maresme. They conserve elements of their own culture, as languages (Wólof and Fula) and music, with its amazing sounds with drums and kora play in Barcelona.
